“This image seems to be out of sequence. I am not sure where the description of the image is located so I assessed the image based on the image itself. This image is much stronger than the image that came before it becuase of what it shows. You can see an impromptu farm of sorts in the foreground, a train passing behind it, a highway or speed train being constructed behind the train, and a city with tall buildings. As a still image, it shows a lot of depth and passing of time and ways of life through the medium of photography itself. I am not sure if this is the intention of the photographer since the image is not sequenced to the descriptions that were provided for me, but as the image itself stands out from a lot of what I have previously seen for strength in communicating something deeper than most of the images in this competition. The composition could be stronger, but overall this image stands out.”
